Northeast Private Trustees President and Trust Executive Tim Borchers will present “Trusted or Busted?” a lunch session for estate planning attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors on Thursday, October 22, at Belmont Country Club.
Organized by Dorothy Zahir of Leader Bank’s Private Banking group, the session will look at situations like beneficiaries pressing for payouts, family members at odds, and trust terms that never anticipated a family’s circumstances.
Serving as a special guest, Tim will share several real cases, drawn from Northeast Private Trustees’ own fiduciary work and appellate court decisions, where trustees faced tough calls and experienced professionals might have landed in different places. For each case, attendees will review the facts and share their own perspectives before Tim walks through the outcome and what other professionals can take from it.
Networking and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the interactive discussion at 12:30 p.m.
Space is limited. RSVP here.
